Oak Bay Mayor Nils Jensen has proclaimed Tuesday, November 22, 2016 Sno’uyutth Day .
This marks the anniversary of the unveiling and dedication of the Sno’uyutth welcome pole at the new Oak Bay High School.
That day last year, we celebrated together a great community accomplishment and a commitment to a revitalized and collaborative relationship among Oak Bay community residents, the District of Oak Bay, Greater Victoria School District #61, and the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations, whose traditional territory includes Oak Bay.
We celebrate again the community collaboration that made it happen and continues to Spread Good Energy.
The Community Association of Oak Bay invites you to join us for a brief, informal get-together with friends and neighbours.
When: Tuesday, November 22 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Where: Sports View Lounge in Oak Bay Recreation Centre located at 975 Bee Street
Help us continue to build community and “spread the good energy” symbolized by the Sno’uyutth Pole!
See you there!
THANK YOU FROM CAOB:
