Recreation Oak Bay is hosting a Bike Festival on Saturday September 22.

The Event is made possible thanks to:
Sports Day Canada, CBC Sports, ParticipACTION and True Sport.

Events at Willows Beach Park will include:
10 –11:30 am
• 6 km Community Bike Ride led by Olympic Cycling Bronze Medalist Gillian Carleton and Mayor Nils Jensen. Two time Olympic Medal winner Simon Whitfield will also be on hand to take part in the festival.
11- 2pm
• Skills workshops
• Bike safety checks
• Latest bikes on display
11:30- 2pm
• Bike Rodeo with the Oak Bay Police
11 – 2
• Small group rides on open roads led by Tripleshot Cycling Club

Bike to Work Skills Course
• 8:45am-4:30pm
• Cost: $30
• Pre-registration is a must
